A snapshot of what local diners frequently mention about this location.
"Great new cafe at Albert Bridge. Opened recently and gently expanding its menu. The cafe is in a prime location and is sure to be a success"
"We absolutely loved this new coffee place next to the river - amazing atmosphere and great coffee"
"A lovely hidden gem with great food and coffee, and a gorgeous view of Albert Bridge. Their ham and cheese toasties are delicious. Highly recommend!"
"A smart new cafe by the Albert Bridge on the Chelsea side. All the cooking and coffee making is done inside a classic green 'Cab Man' shelter, with customers ordering to take away or eat and drink at the tables outside. I had a great cheese toastie and a cup of tea, and it set me up for the day! Literary note: I *think* this is the spot where the main character in William Boyd's novel Ordinary Thunderstorms hides out when he goes on the run. Well worth reading the book for some local colour when you are drinking your tea!"
"A wonderful and rare conversion of a former taxi cafe with bistro tables on the Thames path. The coffee was good and generous, croissants fresh, good range of hot and cold snacks like sourdough toast and toasties. Perfectly located at the chelsea side of the Albert Bridge if you are looking for a break along the river. Opens 9-3 Thurs-Fri and 9-5 Sat/Sun."
"Love this independent cafe. Set back from the road and nice views from the tables facing the river and Albert bridge. Nice menu for all day brunch/lunch and snacks. Fab . A must if walking in the area and for all the locals of battersea."
"Really cute and such a great revival of an old concept. The soft boiled egg was perfectly runny, a great affordable price and so delicious. All the ingredients used were really good. Will definitely be back to sit in the sun. I recommend having more chairs and tables in the sun tho!"
"What a fantastic little place. Hidden away from pathway, but with a beautiful view of the bridge. The staff are very nice and engaging. Definitely worth it to take a pause during your journey and enjoy their menu."
